The Embassy Inn Hotel is located near Dupont Circle in downtown Washington, DC, only ten blocks from The White House and within easy access of the city's business district, museums, monuments, and universities. The surrounding neighborhood includes the Adams Morgan area, with many diverse restaurants and shops to explore, and close by is the National Zoo. Built in 1910 as an eight-unit apartment house, the property became a 30-room tourist hotel in 1919 and was further renovated into a 38-room hotel in 1987. Charming original features include mouldings, mosaic entrance tiles, and a marble stairway.
