By Air:
The hotel is approximately 8 miles (13 km) from Edinburgh Airport. Take the airport bus to Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station. From the station, cross Princes Street to the shops and take the number 3, 3A, 37 or 37A bus to Craigmillar Park.
Alternatively, when leaving Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station on to Princes Street, turn right and walk 200 metres to the North Bridge. Cross to the east side of the North Bridge and take the number 7, 8 or 31 bus (or the number 3, 3A, 37 or 37A bus) to Craigmillar Park. The bus stops outside Alba House and will only take a few minutes in total. Quick description

Alba House has a quiet location less than 2 miles (3.2 km) from Edinburgh Waverley rail Station. A number of local buses run regularly from the stop outside the guest house.
The house was built in about 1860 and the large rooms mix original features with modern comforts. The individually decorated en suite rooms have central heating, TVs, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks, coffee tables, armchairs and tea/coffee.
