Most prominent is Bodrum Castle (Bodrum Kalesi), also called the Castle of St. Peter, built in 1402 by the Knights Hospitaller. Today it houses the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology, which exhibits some amazing finds yielded by underwater excavations along the Turkish coast.
