The Hotel Plaza del Ángel has opened up in the very heart of Salamanca, just a stone's throw from the Plaza Mayor, the main square. The building is made of stone from Villamayor, an easy-to-carve stone typical of the Salamanca quarry, which takes on a golden colour after exposure to the sunrays. Fine materials have been used for its construction, such as marble and wood and all with a perfect finish. Furthermore, the bed and bathroom linen are of great quality, produced with great care in fabrics with natural textures. The four-star Hotel Plaza del Ángel has 23 rooms: 18 double rooms, 3 single rooms and 2 suites, all facing outdoors. Carlos and María have personally designed the Hotel's every detail, creating a very special atmosphere, complemented by the fact that they manage the hotel themselves, thus giving it a highly personal character with their direct and friendly service. The hotel's owners, Carlos Ramos and María Ruipérez, have wanted to create a hotel along very simple unpretentious lines but without forgetting the tiniest detail to ensure their guests enjoy their stay as if they were in their own homes.
