Located right in front of the central station, in the heart of Maastricht, the Amrâth Grand Hotel de l’Empereur is a Jugendstil National Monument dating back to 1902. The hotel is run with an eye on classical tradition, modern comfort, and good old-fashioned, warm hospitality. This monumental villa is filled with energy and serenity and features 150 rooms and suites, as well as 12 party and reception halls and meeting rooms, 7 of which are entirely new rooms featuring a ballroom with balcony. The hotel has also an inner court, a private parking area with 70 parking spots, and 7 Penthouse suites with a private roof garden. Furthermore, the hotel features 2 restaurants, a bar, an indoor swimming pool and a sauna. NOTE: on December 24th, 25th, 26th, and 31st, 2009, the hotel restaurant will be closed and room service will be unavailable. The hotel bar will be open for drinks and snacks.
