Located in the city centre of Bologna, the hotel Il Convento dei Fiori di Seta (The Silken Flowers' Nunnery) has been realized restoring the little church of the nunnery built in the 15th century and enlarged during the 18th century. The chronicles of the time report that in the gardens the nuns grew silk-worms. With the silk they created flowers that they sold to raise funds for charity. The hotel was named after this anecdote. The lobby is located at the entrance of the former church with marble and with original decorations. Breakfast is served in the altar area and the wine bar, situated in the sacristy, serves two split small lounges, one of which preserves the main fresco painting that represents the crucifix. The property is entirely non-smoking, the reduced number of rooms allows us to provide our guests with maximum care, comfort, relax and privacy, while the new spa will offer you relaxing moments.
