Stay at Ortensia Villas when you travel to this island paradise in the Cyclades. These Mykonos holiday apartments have a quiet location on a hill on the outskirts of the island’s main town, but they are close enough to town to be convenient for sampling the famous Mykonos nightlife. Ortensia Villas consists of a variety of self-catering apartments, some of which can sleep as many as 6 people. All guests are invited to use the property’s outdoor swimming pool. By prior request at least 2 days in advance, the management can provide free shuttle service to and from the airport or the port, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Free internet access is available through the municipality’s connection, which is not always dependable. The apartments are located in an area called Hondros Gremos, on a hill that overlooks the harbour of Mykonos Town, also called Chora. It’s approx. 1 km/0.8 mile from the town centre, with attractions such as the Aegean Maritime Museum, the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos, the Folklore Museum, and the picturesque waterfront neighbourhood called Alefkandra or sometimes Little Venice. From Ortensia Villas it’s approx. a 5 minute drive to the ferry terminal at the old port or a 10 minute drive to Mykonos Island National Airport.
