The Hotel Bavaria is located in a quiet side street just off the Theresienwiese, home to the world-famous Oktoberfest beer festival.
The Theresienwiese U-Bahn (underground) station will connect you to key destination such as the Marienplatz square, Viktualienmarkt market, and Hauptbahnhof (main railway station) in just a few minutes.
Travel information
By car:
From all motorways, take the Mittlerer Ring ring road. Exit the Ring at Donnersberger Brücke and continue towards the Zentrum (centre). Drive along the Landsbergerstrasse towards the city centre. Follow the right turn into the Martin-Greif-Strasse. At the traffic lights, continue straight ahead to the Theresienwiese. Turn into the 1st street on the right, the Gollierstrasse. After a few metres, you will see the Hotel Bavaria on the left-hand side.
By public transport:
From the Hauptbahnhof (main railway station), take U-Bahn (underground) lines U4 or U5 for Laimer Platz. Exit at the 1st stop, Theresienwiese. Leave the station via the Theresienwiese exit and walk along the Bavariaring towards the Bavaria Bräu brewery or the Verkehrsmuseum (traffic museum). Turn into the Gollierstrasse (when you see the Hotel Krone). After a few metres, you will see the Hotel Bavaria on the left-hand side. Quick description
