The first Oktoberfest was held in 1810 in honour of the marriage of crown price Ludwig.and has been held every September since then. Despite it being called Oktoberfest the festival is held in September each year and finishes on the first Sunday in October. Alianz Arena! This top class stunning stadium is home to Bayer Munich.The stadium is located in the North of Munich, Germany. The architectural impressive stadium was the main venue for the 2006 World Cup. In 2012 the UEFA Champions League Final. There are daily tours of the stadium on non match days at 1 p.m. Tours are given in English and they show the players dressing rooms, the press conference areas and VIP areas. Englischer Garten – The Green Oasis! The English Garden is a popular spot with tourists and locals. Many people can be found here on sunny Sunday afternoons and even in the cooler months there is plenty of activity to be found in this delightful garden. The Englischer Garten is the largest public green area in the world.
