The Landhaus Kössel is ideal for those, who want to explore Bavaria's beautiful countryside, the castles, lakes, and mountains. The Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain, is not far from the accommodation on the Austrian border, and guests can take a cable car from Garmisch-Partenkirchen all the way up to its summit, at 2,962 meters (9,720 feet). The pension makes an ideal base for hikers, and snow sports are close at hand, during the winter time.
