The Hotel Villa Vauban resides alongside the historic Citadel in the conservation area of serene Villefranche-sur-Mer, nestled at the foot of a huge amphitheatre of terraced hillsides in one of the most magnificent bays of the Côte d'Azur. Monaco lies a few kilometers to the east and a short distance to the west is the vibrant city of Nice, offering many possibilities for entertainment and convenient travel connections. Alan and Brenda the resident English hosts, have invested a great deal in bringing this neglected property back to life – completely renovating the reception, guest lounge, bedrooms and secluded garden – while furnishing it with all the facilities necessary to ensure, that you enjoy a comfortable stay. Amenities
The elegant guest lounge adjoining the hotel reception and the secluded sunken garden are at your disposal, offering the opportunity for relaxation and refreshments in beautiful and tranquil surroundings.
Most Bedrooms in the main building have French doors leading to balconies and those in the garden wing open directly on to the garden and patio. All rooms have private bathroom with w.c, hand basin and bath or shower and those in the main building are equipped with air conditioning, television and all have a safe.
Should you wish to access the Internet during your stay, the hotel is equipped with Wi-Fi.
Continental breakfast can be served in your room or in the garden at 9,50# per person.

Access
In the centre of Villefranche-sur-Mer, just a few hundred metres from the Nice-Monaco Bus stop and within a 15 minute. walk to the Train Station.
Arriving by car : exit at Nice Est then take the Basse Corniche in the direction of Monaco-Menton. In Villefranche take the direction to the Citadel and Port de la Darse.
Arriving by Air at Nice International (NCE) either by taxi or Bus 98 to Nice Bus Station and then either a service 81 or 100 to Villefranche.

There are a total of nine guest rooms at the Hotel Villa Vauban comprising of six doubles, two twin-bedded and one Junior Suite. All rooms have private facilities, a room safe and most are equipped with air-conditioning and television.
Five newly refurbished rooms are situated in the main building and many with balconies, some presenting superb views over the Citadel and across the bay towards Cap-Ferrat – the perfect place to survey the setting sun over a refreshing glass of wine.
Remaining rooms are located in the delightful garden wing and have direct access to the courtyard and patio areas, where continental breakfast on demand can be served and enjoyed before a day's sightseeing, or sunbathing on one of Villefranche-sur-Mer's two nearby beaches
