The Villa Gloria is a little bit special when compared to most 3 star hotels in Mariánské Lázně, a popular spa town in the Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) region of the Czech Republic. There are over 40 thermal springs in the town and this hotel is within close proximity to most of them. Tennis courts are also located in the vicinity and it only takes about 17 minutes to stroll over the 19 century pseudo-Baroque colonnade and the fountains which decorate the town's main promenade. Built in the 1890's by architect Alexander Zickler, the Hotel Villa Gloria is a rather playful Art Nouveau building surrounded by the Slawi Forest which is great for walks, jogging or bicycle rides. Every morning you will wake up to a healthy buffet breakfast, the perfect way to start the day while on holiday in Mariánské Lázně. This Mariánské Lázně hotel also has a lovely garden terrace and you can enjoy free mineral water from the Forest Pavilion Bar in the nearby Hotel Garni. The reception desk is open from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. and then from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m., although somebody is always on call.
