Ter Brughe is situated in the peaceful old quarter of St.Gillis, along one of the most picturesque channels of Bruges. The 4-star hotel is located near the 14th century Augustine Bridge. Built in 1553, today the house is a listed building, so that it is not possible to install a lift within its walls. The oldest part of the Ter Brughe Hotel is the vaulted cellar, which was originally built to serve as a warehouse for the goods that were brought here along the channels.
