Like a picture-postcard scene, the eaved Alpine chalet-style resort sits prettily in its location between Saalfelden and Zell am See. Not only inviting from the outside, the interior is extremely welcoming. Accommodation, with the warmth of wood employed throughout the resort, provides a lovely relaxing retreat after an exhausting day on the slopes or trips out taking in the sights. Everything to make your stay comfortable is included in the studio and the 1-bedroom apartments. The studios. with ample living and dining space, have a kitchenette and a large full bathroom. The 1-bedroom apartment has a separate bedroom for privacy. All apartments are tastefully decorated and are fully equipped with TV, CD and/or DVD player (DVD players can also be rented daily for a small charge) and all have magnificent mountain views. Spending time on site is no problem either as there is an excellent heated indoor pool, gym/exercise room, sauna, games room, table tennis and billiards, restaurant and cocktail bar. Ski equipment hire and ski school are available during winter season. Staff at The Alpine Centre will happily advise on how to make the most of your stay with the resort well placed for exploring, the following sightseeing trips being among the most popular: Salzburg, Krimml Waterfall, the sophisticated walled town of Kitzbuehel, Grossglockner High Alpen Pass (Austria’s highest mountain at 3,797 metres), Eisriesenwelt (the world’s most impressive ice cave), the Kapruner reservoirs and the casino and salt mines at Bad Reichenhall.
